FS: What you've all been dreaming of: Used SMSP Header for H22
Moving on and have a used SMSP header for sale. Here are the details:
- Made for the H22
- used on my Prelude SH for 9,000 miles
- 2.5" Stainless Steel piping
- in perfect working condition
- normal wear
- piping has turned dark from heat
- some dents on the secondaries leading to the collector
- modified to remove an O2 bung which interfered with proper fitment (mandatory for proper fitment)
- added an extra welded-on mounting bracket (prevents rattles)
- located in Chicago, IL
- originally paid $1200, purchased directly from Dave Stadulis of SMSP, have original receipt
I am ready to sell immediately, and would prefer local pick up in Chicago. I am open to all offers. Spent a lot of time and money getting this header to fit perfectly. Given that it's in good condition and has some (I think) necessary improvements, looking to get $950 for it. Feel free to PM or email me at dguru@sbcglobal.net.

The venerable SMSP stamp.
You can see the extra bracket welded on past the collector.
Front view. As people have done on this board, the stainless steel can be polished back to new with a little elbow grease.
The dents. Unfortunate, but I think inevitable on no matter what car the header is put on, and obviously does not alter any flow properties.
After the header, you can run a 2.5" cat to match the header. I recommend the Carsound 53006: stainless steel, OBDII and EPA compliant, small, and costs only ~$50 shipped. I did not throw any CELs with either the header or this cat.

What caused the dents and does it affect anything? I have an JDM H22A whereas you have an A4 I think. Would there be any fitment differences?
