UPDATE! Pics of my Project CX! Almost There...
AS most of you know I'm working on a CX hatchback. The last time I posted you guys saw pics of a totally bare shell just out of the body shop. Here's some pics I snapped today after the Integra Brakes and suspension were installed along with the Energy Bushing set. I'm still waiting on new calipers, so you'll see those missing from up front.
Here's some pics:

NEW pic!

Another NEW pic. Does it look "tiite?"

Check out that new pimp-*** radio - straight from the Honda dealer - O.E block-off!

Notice anything funny about that cluster? Low miles...

Integra RS master cylinder - 15/16ths vs. the Civic's 13/16ths. Non-ABS too

NO line bending with the RS Master cylinder! Neato huh?

What goes in here?

How about this? B18C5 with ATS 4.929 FD in the S80 LSD tranny

Keen eyes would have seen these strut tops peeking out on the pic of the brake lines:

What do you guys think? The motor gets dropped in soon, and after that it's all feathers. Install the front bumper and headlights. Still need to buy the rocker trims, roof gutters, right inside door handle, door trims, and have the rear 1/4 glass and windsgiled moldings installed by a glass company.
I will tell you guys that installing the Energy Suspension Bushing Master set SUCKS! It is a pain in the *** and it took a whole day to burn the old bushings and press them out and put the new ones in place, and that sticky-*** "lube" they supply is HORRIBLE!
I also installed the Skunk2 upper camber arms, but in my haste to finish up I didn't snap any pictures. I will when I get the new cusotm Eibach springs to be installed
Also, the Konis were from a 2000 Civic - the rear struts are more narrow than the 1992-1995 Civic and 1994-2000 Integra struts, so the lower LCA bushings and brass cylinders on the Energy kit had to be "trimmed" to accomodate them, but it works just fine
Anyways, I can't wait to get this thing done!

what color was it before the paint job anyways? from the looks of it they did a damn good job painting the interior and exterior of the car for you..
are you going to leave the car gutted and what is it going to be used for? autox? drag? or just a street car..
anyways.. good job and i want to see the final pics of the car when you are done with it..

By the way:
The interior isn't just started, it's DONE.
Besides adding the front floormats and the rest of the little doo-dads to the dash like the glovebox, etc. it's done. That's how I will drive the car. No interior carpet, headliner, no plastic trim at all - not even door panels.

And no it's not to lighten up the car really. I just thought that if the interior was as nice and shiny as the outside that I wouldn't need to cover it up with plastic panels.

Sorry - I didn't see those questions - I was typing the other response.
Yes I plan on leaning the inside gutted. The car will be daily driven, auto-X and hopefully a track day ***** for road courses
I want to take it to the strip just for fun to see how much better it will be than my old Si. The Si ran 13.9@100.97mph without the ATS final drive, and it weighed in at 2289lbs. I'm shooting for 2000 even or maybe less. I'm hoping that with 300lbs. weight loss combined with the ATS 4.929 FD I will see quicker times.
The car was RED before. Just a few very light hints of red left, but they won't be seen once the windshield moldings and door handles are back in

Knowledge? Hmmm...Not really too much involved as far as knowledge goes. Anybody could do this - seriously.
I'm lucky to work at a shop and most of all, to have FRIENDS that are totally into this ****, so they help out for FREE and without them I'd never have been able to get this far. I'll do the same for them too though
The knowledge involved is mostly common sense and tear down and build up just as you tore it down. It has been fun, but it's also been the most grueling **** too. Being without a car for 5 months now sucks really bad. Thank God for my fiancee', who lets' me drive her car (seen in the first pic) a lot and who supports me in all this too.
As far as "does it stop good?" I can't answer that yet - doesn't stop at all at the moment due to the lack of front calipers and no brake fluid
I will say that this has been a crazy-*** project though. All the time and effort put into it from my friends and I have been enourmous, and of course the money invested is a little bit too
In the end I'll probably end up having about $12,000 in the WHOLE car.

The black dash came in the car - Red hatches came with black interior.
The cluster came from Import Auto Salvage, as did the entire Integra brake and suspension swap, and other various goodies.
Thier number is 1-800-962-8922. Ask for Larry Jr. or Randy and tell them Tom sent you

Tom, you are one lucky bastard, I am totally jealous that when this thing is done, you're going to have the nicest EG (EH) on this board IMO. It's also nice to see someone paint the car an OEM color, opposed to some flashy, pearl POS job.
I hope everything works out smoothly, and you get it up and running ASAP. BTW, which exhaust did you decide to go with? And let us all know how it is running the car with no interior/sound deadning material inside. Good luck with everything!

the car is looking good,i can't wait for you to finish, but i'm pretty sure no one wants to finish it more than you,hey do you wanna trade cx for cx,keep us posted
Nice project, but you should have maybe shaved the mouldings. By the way, here is the car of a local guy in my area. Also running a similar set up as you, with his ITR motor in the hatch he ran 13.1. This is by far my fav hatch...

and by the way, right now he has got a totally new rebuilt powertrain that's pushing a lot of power, it's an N/A setup.

Are those donuts in the front or racing wheels? He doesn't always drive around with mismatched wheels, does he?
He actually does drive around like that.
I also forgot to mention that right now he has spoon mirrors, cf duckbill, cf hood, cf lip and vision corners.
