Pushrod V10? Smells like a viper to me.

 

yup. I put a supercharger and water injection on it for him a few months ago and he wanted more. So he's getting it. Hopefully I can break 800whp and maybe 900tq. I have made 740whp on a stock block and pump gas before so we'll see...

 

for some reason i find that motor to look quite sexy

no way! this guy said that he will probably end up trading it for a 92 dx hatch anyway.

 

Is he running the ROE blower? It's a nice piece, my friend had it on his 2001 GTS but blew the motor, he had a 540" stroker built and the car is currently at PTS in texas getting one of their twin turbo kits with twin PT74-GTQ's. It should be fun, I just don't think the tranny is going to last.

I know all the guys at Super Viper Systems in St. Charles, IL.

I use their Dynojet...Turbos are so nice on those cars, 800whp all day on a Stock Engine...

Their Shop Car is over 1700whp...Seventeen Hundred...hahaha

 

Yup it's the Roe Racing supercharger. I have put on several of them and had virtually no problems.

we have a shop viper that is twice turboed with a custom kit. I think I'm building a motor for that soon too. I'm going to fab up a pair of manifolds to put the turbos up in front of the motor rather than between the frame and the block like they are now. I think his goal is like 1300whp or so. Cant say I have ever been responsible for that kind of power.

 

What kind of managment do the guys at super viper systems prefer?

 

Traction anyone?

My Honda V6 has a cross bolt main like the Viper v10 does

SVS uses Motec on all of their ultra high powered stuff.

Motec on Everything...AEM on a couple stock engine cheap setups.

 

Couldnt talk him into a turbo setup? I bet that focker could spool a pair of GT42Rs like nothing.

do those things run hot? i dont see very much coolant passages around the cylinders....

either way boosted viper engines = sexy
