I personally don't like 5 spoke wheels and the Mugen MR5's are no exception. Everytime i see MR5's it reminds me of those teddy bear rims back in the day in the Tire Rack section of car magazines.

Anyone else hate 5 spoke wheels? I just think they are ugly IMO.

no.. haha but whorin my mr5s is i love my wheels to death, only thing that might or could replace them is some CPRs

thoes ugly *** green anodized ones are a Special edition, and are pretty rare, thats the only set ive ever seen i know the guy with the red crx, the only other cars ive seen them on is the Motul Mugen 87 Civic Race car and its sitting in a museum

 

IMO, the lug caps make a big difference...

 

i think only some cars can pull of teh mr5's. ef's

 

5-spokes is a classic wheel design. I like lots of 5-spoke wheels, but the MR-5's do not float my boat. Maybe okay on some older cars as mentioned but on anything 92-up they're ugly IMHO.

 

MRfizzzees are sick I mean, MR5s might be considered ugly and all, like the CF48s, but how else do expect a company to be different?

Mugen didnt go and modify a volk or any other basic spoke wheel and call it their own.

I think MR5's look best on EF's, and CRX's

thats the car that got me into liking cars.

 

They look best on Ef's but I still don't like them very much. I don't know just something about them. Ive never been a fan of wheels with rivets or screws or whatever around the edge.
