Default Project EJ8 has begun!

Hey guys... I just picked up a 97 Civic EX Coupe (EJ8). I picked up the car for very cheap, and it already has a non running H22A4 swap (which is why I got it). The reason I got it cheap is because it is BUTT UGLY and needs a lot of visual work to make it able to be on public roads without me being pointed and laughed at. So the de-rice project has begun.

EDIT: Car runs now, it just needed a new main relay Purrs like a kitten!

The car is getting all EM1 (99-00 Si) treatment.. new trunk, new bumpers, new paint, new sideskirts, new interior.

I'll post pics here of my progress... comments welcome.. and yes, I know it's ugly!

Special thanks goes out to the guys at Pro Street Motorsports for letting me use their shop and helping me bring this car to life and get it back into shape

The de-ricing has begun!

We had fun ripping off the old side skirts... new OEM sideskirts on the way.

Koyo is now in, just need to get a radiator cap, and the hold down.

Debating between a sparco or momo steering wheel... hrm! Si cluster on the way

Since I'm going to have a cage in this car, I don't need the rear interior. I'm going to clean all of this up, and put a thin layer of black carpet down to make it look nice.

Yuck.

Bye bye rice!!

For some reason, I kinda like the color. However, the interior is ugly as FAWK!! Good luck on the project
