Default Drinking and drifting just don't mix

(I was not drunk even though I had a drink or two, I just thought the title was catchy so please don't be offended thinking I drive drunk!) Well now I have officially wrecked all 4 of my Hondas! Got a little out of control on an exit ramp and was sliding sideways at around 60+ and took out a street sign and a pole of some sort, I did manage to get her under control and drive right out of the spin so thank God I know not to panic in these type of situations. I guess that's what I get for being stupid. Pretty much sucks cause now I have to replace the whole 1/4 panel to really fix it right! even knocked my alignment off, It still drives though so maybe it won't be as bad as I am thinking. Only time will tell.

Any body men that has an opinion of the least expensive but correct way of fixing this, please feel free to post. I am thinking I may have to just buy another shell to come out the cheapest way, I know of a red DX (It even runs!) that I may get for around $1000 but I have to follow up

Just a heads up.

LOL, yeah drifting was not the goal is was just the result of too much speed, worn rear tires and some wet grass, it turned into a hell of a drift though

LOL, yep yep I am very ready for some of that but it's all good. Just a stupid move on my part that I now have to pay for. live and learn like usual.

The Lynard Skynard song "that smell" comes to mind w/ a slight change in lyrics "Street sign your in my way", that makes me laugh a little.

LOL, Well this is the only one that was entirely my fault, the others were just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It just sucks now that every Honda I have owned as been wrecked, my fault or not

Well other than cutting out and installing a new 1/4 panel I don;t know if this one can be fixed. It may not be able to be straightend out enough to fix w/o replacing. I need my buddy to check it out to be sure what route I should take.

hmmm maybe we should start installing those dent resistant metal doors on the quarter panels and fenders. not the doors themselves, but the dent resistment metal material

The molding does not hold it in, urethane does. I did not install the brand trim peices because I planned on painting the car this year (that may have changed now though). When I had the car sitting for a few weeks before I built it, some A$$hole broke all 4 side windows out and I noticed that If I installed the trim with the windows I would not be able to remove the trim again w/o messing it up. So bottom line, I wanted to wait til it was painted before "permenantly" installing the trim, I actually can't beleive the window did not break form the sign. Proof that it could have been worse.

get a shell, and then sell parts off of this one. that way you will make just about all if not just some of your money back

I think I;d get a new shell. You said you were planning on painting, so hopefully youve got some cash for a shell. There's a couple of really cheap good shells on eBay right now.

I don't think I'll be getting that one, lol.
I need to check on the red CRX DX I know about, 340,000 miles and a burnt clutch, body is good though and the fact that it's red is a big plus. The guys asking $1500 but I won't offer more than $1000 if that. He's gotta be crazy to think he'll get $1500 with that many miles (original motor too).
