Default 557whp B16a Civic

I thought I would share this graph with you guys from Dave's daily driven set-up with ac/ps, etc. This was done at 25.5psi on pump gas with a built 81mm b16a. No detonation upon looking at the plugs for all you pump gas ****'s. Up top we are having a little problem with the boost controller holding constant boost. We will take care of this issue very soon.

I will be doing a few adjustments to the cams and putting race gas in later this week. We should be able to break 600whp easy with this set-up.

what size turbo is this? it doesn't seem to ever level out from full boost...or, was the problem you mentioned keeping it from hitting a max psi before you let off?

Yea... the boost was fluctuating up top. Another problem we are having is when boost is kicking in. One pull the boost kicked in a lot sooner and produced about 60whp more throught the midrange compared to another run. I will have that problem also ironed out as well.

I don't think the owner wants me to disclose any further information.

Those numbers are crucial. so what kind of tunning did you use. Did you replace the map sensor??? and also what kind of injectors are you running to make 55 and some change???

those numbers are amazing. thats a nice goal that im trying to reach. And its possible

Seems the Blitz SBC unit has its idiosyncracies. We'll see 600 once we get a stiffer spring in the WG so we can turn it up just a hair more.
The power delivery is VERY linear.
Yes, GT35R.
Morgan - thanks for your help over the phone, as well!
B16 - a true wolf in sheeps clothing...LOL.

Hondata S200 - need to upgrade to S300
3 Bar (need to upgrade there, too)
Amzingly, car is still very much streetable in 3rd and 4th gear pulls. 1st and 2nd are pretty worthless.

somethnigs fishy...There MUST be head work, or something, cause a friend of mine did 555 with race gas, 2.0 GSR, and more boost...Tuned by well known tuner on these boards as well...im waiting to see whats the mystery secret to getting that much power from a 1.6, not saying its not possible

First thing that came to mind when I saw the sheet. Peak torque at 8,XXXRPM.

Cant wait to see what it does when the boost issues are worked out

Subscribing. Hopefully we can find out the compression on this and a linear torque line in the future . Good luck with working out the Boost controller problems.

If anyone wants to chime in with hints on the Blitz SBC id, feel free.
There is no headwork on the head. ITR cams zeroed at TDC. We have NOT played with the cam gears, yet.
Compression is 9.1:1.

I think the reason we are creeping is due to GAIN setting on the bc. Again, anyone care to share settings, please do so. I'd like to see 600 on pump.

I assume you are using the manual mode? If not change to that. If so what are your settings? What size spring in the wastegate?

You must be beggin' for the Gods to give you melted pistons or pounded out rod bearings.
