2006 Civic SI WITH navi !

haha

I won the OEM navigation unit from a wrecked civic si on ebay today for 810
going to pick it up next week.

We have obtained the wiring schematics for both cars and i'm ordering the antenna and rest of the goodies today from hondaautomotiveparts.com

I'll post up a completed how to once its done

Luckily my bud rob is a super wiring genius and i have alot of spare time lol

nice find, so where does the DVD nav disc go? Is it in the unit itself or does it have a seperate computer/dvd reader thingy in the trunk like other Hondas (Accord,Odyssey/TSX ect)

the dvd disk does in the unit pictured just behind the screen

WOW, thats a lot for some navi, I guess you really want to know where you are going. I would put it towards some rims or sticky tires or coilovers or something productive, because I usually know where I am going and if I dont I have my two dollar map.

getting the wires and paying the for labor, getting at audio mounted steering wheel controlls is going to be a pain in the *** and hella $$$$$ ur better off just spending the extra 1500 at the dealership.

cuz i asked the dealer after the puchase of the car if i could have it installed later one...

they refused and said it cant be done it can only be bought htat way, i refused to believe that.. so i'm glad to see someone gettin on it! w00t
