<u>Pictures of the drivers side tuck on pg. 2</u>

I decided to do a wire tuck on my car tonight. I only had enough energy to do the passenger side, drivers side will be done later this week. The passenger side took me about an hour and a half, taking my time.

I wanna see what it looks like when you are done... I wanna do this but I want to keep my a/c in both my cars...

 

I will post pics for sure, I am debating on wether or not to yank the cruise control, I will probably do away with the charcoal canister also. Has anybody taken the canister out on a setup like this? (99-00 w/ stock motor) I know there will be a few sensors without a home if I to take it out.

 

If you take it out, you will have a CEL. The only way to avoid it is to go OBDI.

Yeah not quite ready for that, maybe when I swap. Will it throw a CEL even if I leave tehm pluged in and just tuck them away somewhere?

 

 

Does anybody know for sure about removing the charcoal canister?

These are the only ones I have right now, not the most current. The car is lower now

how hard is to de-pin like that?

i dont know if i could handle it ....

 

Its simple, all you need is a tiny flat head screw driver like for cell phones. You stick the screw driver under the metal clips on the end of the wire inside the plug and pull the wires out the back. I got a full set of little screw drivers at Sears for abot $20.

Yeah I was just looking at the car and with the A/C and cruise control in you won't really even be able to "see" a difference at a glance. I have already taken the brackets off the drivers side shock tower, removed the winshield squirter lines and resivoir as well as tucking the vaccume line for the cruise control.

 

NICE dude. I'm gonna start on my wire tuck when I tear apart my hatch and get it ready for paint. I can't wait, seems like fun.

...and they would in a heartbeat if they didn't know you. We also have about 5-6 motion sensor activated lights and a small arsenal.
