Unfortunately my battery died before I got any "decent" race pics but I'll share what I have anyway.

What else do you do up north in the snow besides rally race?

Wow. It took me a couple of seconds to see how it was being held up!

Im into amateur rally and found that the Lude doesn't do to well. To heavy up front. Got an STI and that isn't allowed because it is 2.5l. Can't be over 2.2l. We went in on a wrx. Rally is fun and a good way to relieve stress.

Cool pics, by the way.

Rallying up here in South Dakota is kinda scarce for actual events. A couple guys and I have been rallying for a couple years now in cheap cars like neon coups and escort coupes, cheap parts and easy to find around here. I would LOVE to get seriously into the sport, but in this area, it's kinda hard. I'm even thinking about part time rally-x my civic coupe, what do you think? I think I even like rallying more than auto-x. Definitely a stress reliever

Nice Shots!
Since this is the Honda Forum and I just found this thread, I'll post the ones I've collected of my car for various people. We finished 1st in class on Saturday and 2nd on Friday.

This is in the garage before the rally, basically where I spent the prior two months.....

Most excellent poddage, dude.
I hate Subarus. If SCCA had made banned AWD cars when they first appeared, we'd have a viable national rally championship in this country today.

I agree. Its' sad to say, but I agree. 2wd inexpensive cars is where it's at, like Hondas. It would build the sport bigger. The big problem is that the organziers are no help in reducing costs. The restrictored awd cars are boring to watch. There was some push to do a GRP F class which is a formula for equalizing all 2wd cars, but people see the contingency money and go right for the subaru's.

It's a bastard. I don't have recent pics. of it, but here was my intitial layout.

They are 37mm aluminum RYDEFX (snomobile shock) monotubes. 5.25" stroke front 6.7" stroke rear. About stock in front and a bit more in the rear. I waterjet cut and welded the upper mounts 3/8" aluminum, turned the front cups from aluminum. As you can see the shocks are mounted piston rod down. Springs are 2.5" ID 550lb/in 12" front, 350lb/in 12" rear springs with helpers. We'll see how it goes with this setup.

It's a new car, so I'm not sure yet.
My guess would be rear lower control arms. I am looking at a circle track front lower arm to replace that part. Or I will just plate it with steel.
