Default JUN3 vs Toda C

TurboR616 went to the dyno. After some tuning i think it did quite well.

206.0 HP 139.8lbft

Specs:

2000 ITR motor
.25 over CTR Pistons
JUN 3 Cams
Portflow Retainers
SMS Header
STOCK Exhaust
STOCK Intake

Thats pretty much it.

Just thought I would show an overlay with the Toda Car i tuned a while back.

Notice that the vtec area on both is almost identical, but the toda has a lot more
in the lower range.

I would guess 6300 for the JUN car, and 7000 for the Toda car

if that jun 3 vtec was lower it would be a bit more even in the midrange.....imo
"mmmmmmmmmmm yeah" - lumburg from office space

I have a SLIGHT feeling that Steve at least tried a few other vtec xovers instead of just picking one....

u can clearly see that the jun 3 vtec needs to be lower, and all i said is it would fill that gap alittle bit in the mid range nothing more nothing less
so chill with ur sarcasim dude

Not on this thread. I'll make sure of that. I am doing this purely as an informational
post. If you guys want to start an argument, do it elsewhere. If you guys cant
keep it ON TOPIC, I wont even bother posting this stuff anymore.

About the vtec crossover, that was THE BEST place. Think what you want, moving
it wont do anything.

hmm so based on the info on the site:

Toda Spec C Camshafts
Wiseco High Compression Pistons
Eagle Forged Rods
Portflow Headwork
AEM Intake
Spoon Header
Tanabe Racing Medallion Exhaust
B&M FPR
440cc Fuel Injectors
Hondata Stage 4

hmm jun3 is pretty good as well

Very nice, I really like how Toda make more power in the mid-range!!
Do you guys think the JUN 3 will peak higher if it is use with an 2.5" exhaust to go with the header? Because I used to see JUN 3 peak at around 8500rpm.

What rpm did you ppl with Toda B and JUN 3 peak at? My *** dyno tell me around 8000-8200rpm on my Toda B's.

So don't you think if the JUN equipped car would have had headwork, and exhaust and an intake like the toda car that it might make a bit more power throughout the powerband?? Anyway, Thanks for the info sgt.
