BUMP WHEN U VIEW PLS

i have the 3 nuts of the pass. side air bag hows the rest come out? i cant tell what is holding it up still if any1 has removed there air bag system b4 please help me

this system has not been deployed im getting it out b/c im selling the whoel srs unit

 

There is probably one more bolt holding the passenger air bag in. As for the driver's side, look on the back of your steering wheel. There should be 2 or 3 plastic covers. Pop them off with a screw driver and unscrew the (10mm?) bolts beneath them. the air bag should lift right out. Unplug the yellow connector and it's out.

 

its near impossilbe to see nemore on the pass side air bad unit it just seems like its the peice in the dash that is holding it you can push up on teh air bag it self. it has to come out of the top of the dash right ?
im taking the whole srs air bag unit out the module and everything thanks

after removing the three nuts on the bottom,take two long screwdrivers and put them between the bottom of the bag and the frame of the dash and push down the screwdrivers and the bag will start to pop up and once you get it started,you can lift the rest up by hand.the top of the bag has a hard ridge that keeps it in the top of the dash.

 

thanks that shoudl help i will try that but were is the srs unit located cause i plan on not just taking teh pass. and wheel out i want teh whole wiring and srs system out im doing a dif wheel and air bag tray going to sell the whole unit

check back were the radio is thats were the yellow wire unplugs

 

In the middle of the floor all the way up next to the gas pedal in the center there is a black cover.It is in two pieces, held in by plastic srews.Remove this black cover and the srs unit is under there.There is the same torque bolts that hold the drivers bag in that hold the unit too the floor.Hope this helps.
