Install Harness on DB8
ok guys i am putting 4 point harnesses on my jdm recaro's in my db8... i cant install a harness bar because well its a 4 door... where can i mount the shoulder harnesses to? (keeping in the back seats as i just got the 4 door R seats?) thank you so much for this help in advance)
thats the same question im gonna have to ask in a few months, But somewhere i saw a bar for the 4 door integra. the people in the rear would have to wiggle there way in though.
Also where did you get the ITR DB seats ?

you can get something custom made. making it connect at the floor board and come up then across to the pillars, youd loose some leg room in the back....but expletive passengers comfort as long the driver feels good right.

Mount your harnesses to your rollbar or rollcage. If you don't have a rollbar or rollcage, don't use harnesses. You're risking spinal compression in the event of a rollover if you're using harnesses with a rollbar or rollcage.
If you still want to use them without a cage be my guest, but I want to make sure you're aware of the risks and the potential for injury or death.

And these are true facts.....Seriously, harnesses should not be used on the streets..

Personally, I was just lookin out for the well being of a fellow squader. Everyone has their own prerogative. Keep in mind....

anyone have any other solutions for install 4-point harnesses into a 4-door integra chassis? I'm doing some autocrossing next weekend in my 97 db8 itr and a friend is lending me one of his 3" 4-point camlock sparco harnesses to use so I don't fly around everywhere, but I don't know where to bolt down the shoulder harnesses.
in my wife's WRX she has child safety latches that we just clip her harnesses to, but my ITR is a 97 and doesn't have those.
I guess I could just bolt to the rear seatbelt mount points as a temporary solution. anyone have any better ideas?

Even though you seldomly drive your car and not at its full potential you can never control everything around you. Its still your car and up to you but just cause you drive safely doesnt mean someone around you is.
