Default What size wrench/socket to take out 98 GSR knock sensor?

I'm kind of puzzeled on how to go about taking out the knock sensor. It's kind of in a tight spot right above the coolant line too.

Any one with tips?

That is kinda tough. If you come in from underneath like changing your oil, you will need a deep well 27mm socket with a 3" extension to get it. Just gently push down on the hoses and get it in there. Now if you have oil cooler it is a bit tighter but can be done. Hope this helps.

Are you sure it is 27mm? I could have sworn it was smaller like 24mm, but it has been a while since I changed mine, so I can't remember.

I know I couldn't get a breaker bar up there, so I used a socket wrench. It should only be torqued to 40 ft/lbs.
