This sucks :-(
Well yesterday a new 17yo girl driver, decides to turn right in front of me, while i was 10ft away, and going 50mph.. Heres the before and after shots :-(
Well i had it towed back to my house, thank god it didnt touch the motor/turbo set up. But what was destroyed was; APEX FMIC, PWR Rad, CF hood, Mugen front lip, and obviously the frame. Now im not sure what to do, i heard if i go through insurance, they take the car and i dont want that :-( So im hoping they settle for giving me cash...but im not sure how much to even ask from them...3k maybe? Enoguh to buy another shell and the parts that were lost.

insurace is a joke on older hondas because they're cheap ******** but they'll give u a check for sure. It just depends on how much damage is done to the car. Hopefully they wont total it though but your damange looks bad

yea the pass airbag went off too.. its def being totaled without a doubt. Thank god for my momo wheel or my driver one would of also, and i would of mostlikely been alot more hurt thn i was!

Same thing here. I got rear ended by a Hispanic guy trying to do a burnout behind me in traffic then he let go of the brake!!!

When you buy the car back, it's still considered your property. You'll still have the title and you'll be allowed to do whatever you want to it.
So you should take the insurance money, let them know that you want to buy the car back. (i paid $800something for my 99 Si). and you can pull parts off.
