What does GSR stand for

they dont stand for anything.....only one that u know of is the type r......is type racing of course....but the others are just letters on the cars....diff letters mean diff options for diff cars

They're just trim designations. Does EX, LX, DX, VX, HX stand for anything? Doubt it. How about other countries' designations, like VTi, VTi-R, etc. Doubt it means anything, just to differentiate between the different models.

I think they do stand for something. I think GS stands for Grand Sport, and the R is for Racing, just like every otehr Honda Type-R vehicle.
Really and truly, the GS-R isn't much worse than the Type-R. The Type-R is just a little more race prepped. THe GS-R is more luxury. It can easily be made to beat or hang with Type-Rs for less than $1500. And it's still more comfortable. If I had the choice, I'd get a GS-R.
