I am struggling with this myself. Here's what I do know: 1. JDM one piece headlights use an H4H bulb 2. There are no HID kits that use an H4H bulb. 3. The H4H bulb has a different base from any other bulb so with any kind of mods you can't use anything but an H4H 4. Yes, HID kits are just a plug and play kit that comes with bulbs and everything you need

I need to look into it more but the harness password sells is for H4 to H4H. Our stock headlights are H4 and the JDM are H4H so it's just a simple plug in harness for when you buy 1pc headlights. Now someone just needs to make an HID kit with an H4H bulb.

i have h4h bulbs in my jdm 1pc headlights that is the exact bulb da's use..and what i did was i bought an hid kit for a h4 application and with a dremel i shaved down the bigger round part for the h4 style bulb down to a h4h style bulb to fit into the headlight housing..and thats how i did mine..

although he doesn't have the best reputation oh H-T, there was a member by the name of "TheIntegraGuy," who i think had an s2000 retrofit in his 1piece lights. Looked sick as hell, here are a couple pics from an old thread he started. I think he is more specific here... https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=2

just buy a H4 HID kit and ur fine...thats wut i did with my white EF that i used to own and it was perfectly fine

unless ur the type of person that HAS to run the required H4H bulbs that came in the headlights...sure there were some fitment issues but the rubber bushing that holds the bulb in helped a lot

h4 housing needs to be cut down to fit into the h4h housing. your better off using the 9006 smaller base and modifying that into a jdm headlight housing as it fits more betters

Won't the lines in the plastic mess up the beam pattern?

Those ribs on the DA headlights look like GLARE CITY! There is no way you're going to get a good cutoff with those barely translucent ribs.

Keep the one piece, get some cheapo clear lensed projectors off ebay, use the clear cover from the projects and chuck the rest of the assembly... then use the clear cover on your one piece lights and retrofit a nice set of TSX HID projectors.

So.... it's easier to modify a 9006 to fit the H4H housing rather than modifying an H4 bulb?
