i used to like autodarkening helmets when i first learned to weld, but after getting flashed a couple times when i was in tight spots covering the sensor i learned to use the regular helmets and never looked back. my auto darkening just sits without use.

you need to adjust the sensativity. everytime the lighting in the area your in changes the sensativity has to be adjusted. i never get flashed. maybe you should give it another try.
