Default shops to go to or avoid for turbo parts.

I was wondering if anybody can tell me some places to go to or avoid to get good turbo parts. Here's some places I already know of from HT, I just don't know if they're any good or not.

Phoenixturbo.com(turbos, misc.)
LSD Motorsports(manifolds, intercoolers)

I plan on having all the parts for my setup by march or april for a spring break build/tune. I just want to turbo my car for the least amount possible, whille still getting a reliable setup.

Read a little closer, he wanted to know if they are a good place to buy from.

Look in H-T's sponser marketplace you'll find some good sites.

I've heard nothing but bad things about SSAC on here and from a mechanic who has done quite a few turbo honda builds (seems like everytime I go in for something he's doing at least one). I'm assuming you just got the good and bad mixed up.

I've got a Phoenix Turbo T4/T04R aka T67 downstairs on a friend's car that resides in my basement. I've never bought from them, but this is the third I've recommended to my immediate friends, with good results.

The HMT boys love LSD Motorsports, I only hear good.

There are a lot of reputable sellers on HT. I've had great results from Ben @ importparts, wiredspeed, tunertoys, lightning motorsports, etc. Arturbo lags a little on shipping me his tshirts, though

Dont ever buy anything from turbocalculator.com ..I had nothing but problems with them,,ordered a supposed brand new garrett t04b and what came was xs power bullsh*t.. The prices they have on those turbos is to good to be true,,not trying to bash them but they really suck..

They stole most of their compressor maps use in their calculator application from my web gallery, Mark Pikas' web gallery, and free-to-all submissions from the jyturbo mailing list. Ignored me when I asked for a free copy.

Damn! Those prices are cheap.

Are rebuilt turbos good though or would I be better off getting a brand new one?
