EIBACH SPORTLINE SPRINGS on TEG
Im curious, I changed my springs on my 95 teg from H & R race springs to Eibach SPortLine Springs, I really dont like it because it does not drop low like the H n R race springs.
Ive been told that the EibachSPort Line Springs will drop low like a race spring in one or two weeks.
SHould I believe that ? Is it true ? any teg owner with Eibach SPORTLINE SPRINGS not the PRO wiht Pictures pls ?
With my eibach sportline spring on, on the front and rear , it has abt two fingers GAP.

i had sportlines on my car before i got omni sports. rode very nicely but gave a ugly uneven looking drop.
the rear on my drop was like 1 finger and the front was always 2 fingers.

i have the sportlines, in the front i have about a finger gap. i had a 2 finger gap in the back till i hung out with a friend and one of her really fat friends. fat friend sat in the back now i have a 1 finger gap in the back
i think the drop is still pretty agressive... you don't want to be dragging your car around or scraping it everywhere... i've had the eibach sportlines and pro-kit on my old accord before and i can say that with the pro-kit, i did experience the 2 finger gap in front and less than 1 finger gap in the back. good luck

and thus you have no clue why you have that gap do you? eibach is one of the only companies out there that actually drop the car evenly(parallelness of the chassis to the ground) honda made almost all of their cars have a larger front wheel well, so when you drop the CHASSIS down so its parallel to the ground the front gap is a little larger.
eibach make some of the best springs in the market,....they offer one of the best warranties to boot.
you shouldnt bash a company just because you are unhappy with it(unless it performs horrible) you should just recommend a different product.
i bash tein because of this

notice how high that perch is?
this is how far the car is dropped

the car is actually lower, its was on a slope. but people who know suspensions should be able to tell whats wrong with the pic.

Thats the drop I have using Ground Control sleeves on Koni Yellows, 1 finger of gap in the back. I occasionally hit the bumpstops with 400/400 springs at that height, so lowering springs that go lower would just destroy the ride quality. And honestly, 1 finger gap in the rear puts the LCAs horizontal, and I don't know if going much lower would even help the handling of the car. Push the roll center too far below the pavement, and you'll just get massive body roll without absurd spring rates. I only just a little more than 1 finger in the front, but I want the car on a rake. Measuring fom the jack points, the front is about 1/2" lower.

i will never buy eibach again i have been very dissapointed with them. the stance is just plain odd looking and the spring rate is too damn soft, every time i corner had i can hear my tires rubing the finder wall in the back and the plastic in the front. i have had to buy spring helpers just to keep this from happening. ebay coil-overs work better then eibach.
^ i never had that problem mines was pretty much feel like stock and i was on sum 17inch wheels then when i put my stock 15s on the car looked retarted

eibach is the only company that makes springs that make your front "LOOK" higher then the rear...
we all know the integra fender is cut higher.. who cares! look at H&R, Progress, TEINS, Sprint, Neupseed,, etc.... They all have better looking drops.. Meaning NO SPEED BOAT EFFECT as what you get when you buy eibachs....
Eibach did not do any research at all when they made those springs. all they did was went to the junkard, purchased some old integra springs, cut them and then made a cast molding of it and then mass produced it.
which is why the front is higher... they didn't even road test it.. which is why people discover that their will look like SHlT after the rear seattles/sag and the front doesn't..
not only does the sportline springs does it, also their sorry azz prokit will give you that speed boat effect....
looks like poor R&D to me...
i will buy some green teins and sell my prokit to anyone who wants it... $100 shipped. email me at cnaman@ureach.com. they are in excellent condition.. used for about 20k now...</TD></TR></TABLE>
hhahahahahahah, actually its great R&D, because they wanted the car to have a lower stance, but not a bias between front ground clearance and rear. if they are the worst spring company then why do many swear by them? why do F1 race teams use their valve springs in their engines. and what about the million mile warranty they offer for any defects?
you might want to try ground control coil-overs before you make a uneducated judgment on a company.

I argue the point that they are the worst ever!
I do agree that they do look funny.... BUT The car did handle AMAZINGLY!
I was taking turns that i wouldn't dare do w/ Stock suspention. It handled it NO PROBLEM!
most of you guys seem that your just going for the look of the car. The car actualy sits evenly w/ the ground with this suspention setup. however even with the ground has different wheel gaps front and back.
These springs wern't made to SLAM your car for a show or something, They were made to perform and handle. These would be great for autocross or similar track events. I used them in Autocross last year and they were awesome.

I have tried, tein, H&R, eibach, and nuespeed springs. I still perfer the ride handling of eibach hands down over the others! Yes there is a gap in the front, Just Like HONDA intended!

Slap whoever told you that... i had a friend that worked at H&R and she said they got kids calling in all the time with questions like these. The drop stated on the side of the box is what you get. For the most part no they wont drop anymore, and the stated lowering with the h&r race springs is pretty apparent that its more than the sportline.
