I'm about to buy a SMSP Header from my friend, but it was for his 4th gen h22a prelude. I was wondering if it would fit my 5th gen base model JDM h22a prelude?

 

you will have to shirten it or lengthen it, i can't remember. the bolts patterns are the same, but the lengths are different. just take it to an exhaust shop and they can modify it to make it fit.

 

Whether it is a Base or a Type SH, you will have to get it lengthened.

Hey, if you are interested in an SMSP test pipe, let me know. I have one I am not using.

 

I don't think any of Dave's H22 headers actually bolt up to the stock exhaust anyway, so you'll probably have to do some shortening of your exhaust.
