like the subject said i got it for xmas, im bout to put the kit in my car and i see on a friends car and he "claim" and i use that loosely cause he's an idiot. but he said the magnetic antenna slid around a lil bit and scratch the **** out of his trunk. anyone know if this is tru or not and if so is there anything i can do to prevent this from happenin like silicon or some sort of gasket

 

its supposed to go on your roof.. and i've never had one slide around, i have it on 3 cars in my family

 

I install the antennas on the trunk lid all the time. They contain a pretty powerful magnet, and I suppose they can slide around if you go through a car wash, but it's not going anywhere with regular driving....
