just wanted to show you guys what i have been working on for the past week.....

after reading the posts in this thread i realized that you all think this is mine. unfortunaelty it is not. the person that owns it has hired me and my shop to be hi own personal mechanic/tuner for his cars. with that title comes alot of privledges though, one of them being driving these cars.

Just got back from our first Main Street and Highway runs

Why drive at night? All the tracks are close for season and we have no tag..

we can't just drive up and down on street. after all.. this is Ariel Atom..

if a shop in Oregon can sell them, then yes .. they are street legal

 

It is street legal. Is there a reason why they ship the car and the engine separate? Must be to get around some law in place.

3. The plan is to make an all motor car that will wax a supercharged version......ITB's on the way....very very soon. also there has been some talk of K24 bottom end

</TD></TR></TABLE>It is legal, but to ship it in with no engine you pay less taxes in customs, and it also comes in a "car parts" instead of car. also we were able to buy the swap here for $5000 and have to do a few small modifications ourselves... i.e. remove a/c, convert to 3 pulley setup, install oil pan baffles, retard intake came 2 teeth, and lock out the VTC system

if i recall correctly, buying the engine from Areil was close to $8000 cause they install brand new CTR engines

Dammmmmmmmm.. First time I saw the vid I said sh|t look how it moves on a k20 imagine it with a k24 bottom.. Props.. and good luck on the build.. suscribed and waiting for the vids patiently
