OBX LSD Issues
I did a few searches and found that people had the axles stick, but my situation is that the OBX breaks the c-clip then grinds the axles down, basically popping them out. Has anyone heard of such a thing? Of coarse OBX claims that there faulty axles, I don't think so after 3. I think I rather be pegged legged than a car that can't drive.....
I'm asking this for people who have 350 Wheel horsepower applications and don't have LSD do you like the power to the ground or rather have LSD, I'm thinking of going peg legged again.... how does people feel on that for a daily driver application i.e. 4 door Integra

For that application, get a Quaife if you want to stick with the helical LSD. The ITR LSD, which is better in my opinion for cost and torque bias ratio, has questionable reliability at 350WHP. (My 2003 echange with Quaife.) You can search for some LSD grenade stories.
You also have the option of clutch pack LSDs. Those are probably your best best for traction with 350WHP.

Where did you pick up an ITR LSD for that price, is it used or new from Honda Japan? I also have a 97 GSR, but a 4-door which I'm assuming you have 3 door SCCA?

I imported my LSD that from Japan. It was from a 2000 CTR and was practically brand new. I also converted to the ball-type differential bearings to ease the installation. The axle fit is identical to the stock differential.
some people have some luck out of obx diffs. i havent. i have put in many diffs (so im no noob) and i had a buddy that wanted a obx put in his tranny. so i put it in and it was junk. i had to pull the tranny again and wouldnt you know it the axle was stuck. he got another obx and the same thang. had to pull it again. called obx and they made up some excuse saying it was put in wrong. the funny thing is he went and spent the money on a quaife and never had another prob. if your gonna plan on making some power just spend the money on a quaife
I used the ball bearings. (p/n 91005-P80-E31) Those are set with a feeler gauge instead of measuring the bearing preload with a torque wrench. Honda also recognized the ease of assembly and switched to this bearing for all of the VTEC Integras starting in 1998.
