Default my t3-t67 h.o. build. lotsa pics, 56k? eh try it.

i have been working on this build for about the last 6 months. little here little there. i have been amassing pics to do it all at once. i hope this build can get me over 600 whp. i have never competed in any front drive classes, so if anyone can see this and give me some information on which class my car would fall in, that would help. i know it is in need of an 8 point, i know it is in the works as well. here are the cliffs on the build and some pics of the progress. hope you enjoy.

block:
84mm b16
darton sleeved
9:1 je forged
Crower billet rods
stock crank
moroso pan

head:
1mm over REV valves
REV springs titanium retainers
GSR cams
victor x
bored throttle body

drivetrain:
b16 box
gearspeed syncros
quaife diff
exedy twin
golden eagle scatter shield
gator racing stage 3 modified axles

this is just the cliffs on my build.

here are the pics with a little to go on.

this is the old drag kit, it was on my car for thebetter part of 3 years. it got to the point where the 2.5 dp" was not enough for my power goal, and it had to go, then comes the drag creep issue with the 3" dp, and that just started the snowball effect. so instead of making due with what i have, it was better to let the whole kit go and start from scratch.

this is a side by side comparo of the drag to4b that came off and the f-r t3t67 ho that i am putting on.

since it is using a backdoor intercooler, this is a pic with the ac gone. boo hoo. it was there and working fine till a 17psi pull with the drag kit he hee.

the monster 22 x 11 x 3 pwr/full race back door with the tial 50mm bov.

another shot of the 50mm bov

the chrome moly lightened exedy flywheel

the exedy twin disc

the victor x, vortech rail, and for now the rc 750's

took a little digging but i did find a filter that can fit in there. i still cannot get over the welds on this manifold.

3" full race downpipe. work of art. and toy can see the scatter shield as well.

had to loose the 0ga and the audio to make room for the breather. i cant believe it took me this long to put it on.

i chose to remotely mount the regulator, because i didnt want it hanging off of the side of the rail. it works fine where it is.

took a little inginuity and some aluminum strapping got the 6al box and coil mounted.

whole engine bay shot

after thinking and thinking, and with your help, even though everyone in the ec forum wanted me to not cut the bumper, but what the hell would you do with the 3" of core that wouldnt be exposed? so i cam up with this. well i didnt, the slow motion civic gave me the idea. but thats it. if the engine goes south, as it has already a few hard miles on it, i will do an ls vtec.

thats it. hope i didnt waste your time.

Sold my Red hatch and bought a CRX from a local. I'm buying a house so, money is tight but I hope to have it ready for the Nopi/NHRA events in April. I'm crossing my fingers. I'll get some updates of it up as soon as I can but, I've been busy. Hope to see you in the lanes. Even if I'm not racing I'll be at almost all of the events w/ Dan back and his PW/S-SFWD car playing Crew chief for him

Phil

NHRA= Sport FWD (slicks)

NDRA= Power street. (DR's)

Just pick up a set of 225/50/15 BFG's and a set of 24.5/25x8.5x13 slicks
