Default Anyone recommend Shift Leathers?

Looking to sell my Tz-1 Jacket and pick up a 2 piece suit. Local shop has the Shift 2-piece on close-out for 339.99, and wanna wear the jacket for short rides, then the 2-piece on the long ones when hittin up the mountains. Anyone have feedback on their suits or jackets? Its either the Shift 2-piece or a alpinestars GPU 2-piece, but that cost almost double the price, and has about the same features, minus the knee pucks on the Shift, but i dont plan on tracking anytime soon, or draggin the knee
heres the Shift Suit:http://www.motostrano-store.com/shsutwlesucl.html
and heres the GPU suit:http://www.motostrano-store.com/algputwopisu.html

A friend of mine has Shift leathers. He says they feel just as comfy as his A*. But remember, fitment is number one when it comes to leathers. He hasn't crash-tested 'em (knock on wood that he never has to), but they're backed by Fox (IIRC), so they're not a fly-by-night company.

If there's nothing wrong with your TZ1, why not just pick up the track pants from A* and use those for trackdays...?

I don't know how they hold up in quality and such but I think shift leathers are the nicest looking ones on the market.

Sounds like getting the shift is a good idea if yer tz1 doesnt fit you well. As long as its comfortable, I bet it'll still be pretty good. Like marm said, Shift is under Fox so I bet the quality is decent at least.

I got a teknic leather jacket, and i dont really like it. Its much lighter then my alpinestars, and the quality doesnt seem to be as god as the alpinestars. But then again i paid only 100 bucks brand new

Also, not to tread jack but:

I have the Dainese Monza jacket and just picked up the P-Joy pants, and one thing I noticed is the *** is super baggy. Is this normal?

Is the rest of the pant baggy? Otherwise, get a bubble butt!

I have Teknic pants and they're super baggy and the zippers are crappy.

They crashed well though.
