I want to put a Carbon Fiber Hood on my DC-2, but i would like your input on the best manufacturer for one.
Which company makes the best fitment, best look? Also do any let you put the rubber strip onto the CF Hood. Let me know the info. please and some links and prices would be nice. Thanks.

Fiber Images are pretty good. I read something in an import magazine about how they make it and all, and they parked a car on a FI hood and it didn't get bent out of shape or break. I think if you check out http://www.importhookup.com, they have a link to get the hood for $350 instead of $499. Check it out, I wanna get one soon too. I have an ugly rust spot on the front of the hood cuz the previous owner didn't fill in a paint chip
I've had a sunny styling hood for a year-and-a-half, and I've had no problems, even using the stock latch. Trouble is, it cost me $700.
how much do these things weigh compared to the stock hoods??
Fiber Images CF hoods have always rubbed me wrong. I've known two Integra owners that had them and they both ran into problems with the hood not flushing up to the fender on the passenger side. But, then again, I've also heard a couple of accounts (last year on this same board) where they lined up just fine, along with a few others that said that it didn't flush up to the fender. Otherwise it was fine.
Where would I find one of those Benen hoods? And I just remembered that FI hoods have had problems, but I dont remember if they are fixed or not. Who else is good to go with?
