It's actually not my car. We built it for a customer of ours. Traction?...non existant except in 6th gear. Customer says that in 6th gear he went from 60mph to about 140mph in 4 seconds.

That is awesome, but way too much power in that car. I think for most cars anything over 300 or 350 is useless, if you cant get the power down what is the point. Even the new Ferrari 430 is "only" making around 375 hp.

yeah that is the truth of it, atleast in a FWD car. Honestly I am not so much impressed with the hp #s, becuase people have been close to that with crazy NA setups. What I am most impressed with is the hp/trq ratio that this BOOSTED car has, that is very impressive and is very tough to accieve with such little displacement.

Typically big obvious loops usually are signs of a slipping clutch. If you look at the boost curve on the Hondata link, you'll notice that there is a spike there. I believe that spike is what caused the spike or loop on the on both hp and tq graphs.

usually small loops indicate either a pretty bad miss (pretty bad... i mean shut off for a sec) or severe enough detonation to stop the engine. normally on a dynapack when the clutch slips it will just stop the run.. loops mean the WHEELS actually slowed down and sped back up. once a clutch starts to slip on the dyno, it dosnt just grab again. remember the dynapack calculates rpm, they arent measured via rpm pickup like on a dynojet

The car definitely didn't shut off on any of the dyno pulls. The new software that comes with the new Dynapacks such as the one from Church Automotive, plot the run regardless of if you let off the gas during the run or if the clutch slips. On my Dynapack, I've seen a clutch let loose and then grab. Typically they were boosted cars that would slip only at the steepest climb of the torque curve.

Thanks for the insight JDogg. I'll look into it some more.
