Hey guys I am ready to install my suspension (illuminas and eibach pro kit) and have some questions to help clear things up. First...
1. Are these the correct dust boots for a 99 - 00 civic si (upper right hand corner)

2. When you bolt the suspension together you know how the two screws coming up the top hats go into the body of the car. How do you get that to be in the right position for the bottom to bolt up? If you put the shock together its to tight to spin if it doesnt line up right. Do you have to compress the spring then tun it then do it again??
3. Resetting the bushings in the suspension. Where exactly do you do this and how? You do it with the car on the floor correct? The loosen the bolt so the bushings un twist then tighten it back up? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!!

You can reset your bushings with the car on the ground, but I find that to difficult. Here is what I do.
-Jack the front of your car up under the front bumper
-Place jack stands in proper locations behind front tires
-Place jack underneath once front LCA
-Jack up LCA until car just barely lifts off nearest jack stand
-Loosen all bolts at that corner that go through the center of a bushing (removes twist)
-Tighten all bolts down to torque specs found in Helms Manual (locks bushings in new position)
-Move to other corner & repeat
-Move to rear of car & repeat
There are only two suspension bushings this does not apply to: the rear trailing arm bushings & the rear UCA inner bushings. Both of those bushings are a "dogbone" style & would require them to be pressed out & clocked to be reset. That process is definently recomended on the trailing arm bushing, but personally I would just wait until I was going to replace them...
As for your upper mounts, the Helms manual has a procedure to set them properly. It shows the angle of the bolts in relationship to the lower brake line bracket. i do not know off hand though. Get the book if your going to be working on your car.
