Just a warning to everyone, but we have been ripped off by a scam for parts that we sent to the Tampa area. A Buddy Club Suspension and Spoon Sports DC Cluster were purchased fraudulently back in Dec. I just received notice from my cc company of the charge back about 3 weeks ago. I had not posted anything up til then because I had hoped to recover something, but it does not look like that will happen. Apparently, this is HUGE (in excess of $100000 in Dec) and there are quite a few other shops that got hit as well. From what the detective has told me, this individual has previously been arrested, but only received probation. Now, he is right back at it. Some of you from that area probably know who I am speaking of. I guess he just sold his car and is now driving a new M3. I am glad I could help out with that purchase! If anyone has any info they wish to convey, please use the contact info below. I want nothing more to put this individual behind bars. (Actually, I would like to be placed in the cell with him for a few minutes, but I know that won't happen, so I will settle for full prosecution).

Man I hate to hear **** like this esspecially to buisness owners such as yourself.

 

He goes on the boards by the name Spoony, and quite a few people have bought products from this individual. I always wondered how he was offering JDM parts so cheap but he looks like he was buying them at a certain price, and then selling them at a loss (or so everyone thought). He always had a ton of awesome parts at great prices.

 

Well, now that the cat is out of the bag...you should see his rap sheet. There is no reason why this guy isn't having his pipes cleaned by some 350lb man named Snake! I just don't get it. So, if anyone know's ANYTHING or has bought anything from him, contact Detective Moffit and let him know. Sad thing is, I talked to this guy a few days ago and he denied everything...."sir, I have never done business with you, sir...this is all a misunderstanding, sir."
Tell you what, anyone who helps put this guy out of operation, will have a hookup on parts through us FOREVER!

AJ is not in jail. He is on the streets. As I said above, I talked to him a few days ago on the phone; very polite for a thief.

Wow.....12 charges and he walks on bail....

 

When I get into the shop tomorrow, I will link to the rap sheet. 12 charges just from this last arrest. I think it is well into the 60's as far as total class 2 and 3 felonies since last year. Nice. Hope he is enjoying that bimmer.
