Are you gonna go obd0 or obd1 for the ecu?

OBD1 tends to be more tunable, but if you have obd0 dizzy and stuff then you won't have to convert the car over, plus tuning for the pw0/pr3 is pretty good already. Tranny choice is up to you, I think most of the mount kits have it set up for hydro.

Isn't it the other way around? There are a lot of companies out there that have been making mount kits for cable trannies. But AFAIK Hasport is still the only one making cable to hydro conversion kits. Then again I haven't been keeping track of the different mount kit companies, so I dunno.

I always thought the deal was no hydro for d series, but hydro preferred for b series, I dunno.

Well I would think with a D swap you can just use a Si tranny. If you are doing a B swap then you can go with either one. And of course the cable and hydro tranny have their own set of pros and cons.

So you have a dx hatch with a d16 motor..?? So its already converted to multi point injection or what?? And what b16 is it?? You say its jdm and has 170 hp so Im guessing its the b16a sir2,obd1,hydro tranny swap..Give some more info..
