FS: 4gen prelude JDM climate control conversion kit
I am offering the complete kits that will let to make a manual to digital conversion.
I don't have 100 kits on stock, I am not car parts reseller, I just buy (and sometimes demount myself) the parts at a well known by me junkyard and make the preparative work. This junkyard is getting 2-3-4 preludes every month, some of them are JDMs.
My first kit was done of course for myself, I wanted something that would let to make the conversion easier. That's why I did the first harness
. Then the other people begun to ask me if I could do the same for them, so I said myself, why not ???
These kits are made with passion
, especially as I am not a car professional, I just like to do such kind of jobs. These are not ebay type kits, in 95% not complete, where one or more sensors is missing, just with plugs with cut harness.
The complete kit contains:
- digital AC panel,
- all the sensors,
- air mix motor,
- power transistor for blower,
- electrpneumatic valve that replaces replaces manual valve,
- custom made plug&play wire harness to connect ONLY 7 SOLDERINGS TO DO TO THE CAR !!!!!!!!,
- WRITTEN guide to install it
- email SUPPORT to install it
The problem is the A/C harness is integrated with vehicle harness. That's a picture of JDM BB4 harness - really spent a lot of time&money to get it 100% undamged and uncut by taking it off MYSELF from a JDM BB4 prelude for reference purposes: http://prelude.club.free.fr/fo...4.jpg
That's why on ebay they just cut the plugs...
My probably first on the world custom made harness looked like this - an early prototype version, done by me for my car, many unconnected wires as I was not 100% sure where they go: http://prelude.club.free.fr/fo...3.jpg
Here is the topic from some months ago about my install:

Pic kit installed: http://republika.pl/hondaprelu...1.jpg

Price asked: $320 + shipping ($35 via airmail to USA)
EDIT: PICTURE OF ACTUAL KIT - this one is going next week to live in France
now it looks much better, like OEM made thing

wow, I guess that cures most of the headaches and cuts installation time on these cool mod. I think I might buy one from ya soon.
Answering to the question sent by PM:
Yes, the colours of the wires are OEM. Blue-orange is always blue-orange, white-red is always white-red etc.

No need to modify the air mix motor, just cut a little metal bracket that holds the motor itself and mounting the motor upside down (pictures from my install):
Cut some plastics:

Mount the motor like this, using 2 bolts (only one on this picture), connect the motor with existing arm, the connecting rod will be supplied with the motor:
