Need help with obd0-obd1 distributor...harness side
Ok, converting to obd1, I have the dizzy king distributor. In a rush I made the mistake of taking the plug off the engine harness side, instead of taking the plug off the distributor to re-pin for the new round plugs. I got the dizzy repinned fine with the round plug but now I need to put my old round plug back on the harness side. My wire colors are different than my 90si. Harness is from a 88 dx with the hasport converstion harness with a b16 installed. My colors are:
Large white
white
white
white/blue stripe
orange
orange
orange/blue stripe
What the crap is up with my harness? Can any one tell me how to re-pin back in my round harness plug?
ok just called hasport, and dizzy king, this is the color/function I came up with:
Hasport harness
1. orange wire- cypp
2. thin white- cypg
3. orange/blue- pdcp
4. white/blue- tpcg
5. new orange- ckpp
6. new/white- ckpg
7. thick/white- ignitor
Dizzy king dizzy
1. white- tdc
2. peach- tdc
3. white/blue- cylinder sensor
4. peach/blue- cylinder sensor
5. blue/yellow- crank sensor
6. peach/blue- crank sensor
7. yellow green- ignitor signal

follow those wires back to where it connect to the car harness... my friends was the same way... on the car harness side it should be the same colors
Wow, you have 3 whites on your dizzy? Call hasport if thats the harness that you are using, they should help. If not, give us a call, but be aware you need to know how to use a volt meter to troubleshoot this.

Grab a volt tester to check continuity on the wires...
this is thru the 0-1 jumer, so basically pinouts for the obd1 ecu

once you establish that...
pin the dizzy color to color!
BUT!!!
Since its a dizzy king dizzy you have to swap around the orange and the white wires from top to bottom... So go color to color, and swap those 2 after so you dont screw up.
Easy as that (note, dizzy king (RT) didnt know the factory honda color order, so it screws lots of ppl up!)

should I be throwing a code for tdc, cylinder position, or crank position sensor if I have 1 or more of the wires crossed/wrong on the dizzy. Im gettin an ELD code but thats it
I bought a volt meter and when the accesory switch is turned on im getting voltage from 3 wires on the harness side.
On 1 wire which is TDCP i get .076 v
On 1 wire which is CYPP i get 0.39 v
1 wire which is CKPP i get 0.41 v
Should the other 4 wires not have any voltage when accessory switch is on? The car turns over fine, and i have 40 psi fuel pressure. I have tried switching a few wires around on the dizzy but im a little worried it might fry something...or is that possible.
Anyway any suggestions would be good.....

Dont check voltage, continuity is what were looking for.

If I measure the wires ohms: i gues is the same as continuity??
white/blue ( tpcg ) 03.3-03.5
thin white (cypg) 03.3-03.4
thick white ( ckpg ) 03.3 03.4
nothing from the rest of the 4 other wires

No, continuity to find the wires, and make sure they are in the right spot. Your making this too hard
I dont care what it says on the reading, just put it on the sound setting and find your wires

He is telling you how to easily trace the wires from the ecu. Then you will grab a diagram of pinouts and go from there.
