Default New header.

I just recieved the new header for my car. Let me know what you guys thinks. This is the very first sample and has out performed my previouse one by way far.
Plenty of testing and Dyno time on this one. Like to thank Mike at Highend Autosports for the header. BTW primaries check in at 1.75in. and 2.5in. collector very nice welds. Production units will be even cleaner. Dyno graphs should be up shortly. We do have a graph of this header against The SPARKS racing header and it follows it almost exactly except about a 2-3hp gain all across. Thanks guys

Awesome header, is it me or do those welds look alot cleaner then the sparks version? Not trying to talk smack. Hopefully the graphs show if it makes power, when will these be ready for production?

whats with all of the TRI-Y inventions latley? ive seen on a mustang that it made less power than the cast manifold...but that was a mustang. i guess if you want torque thats what they are for. but hondas arent known for torque. any dyno charts to back it?

Don't trip guys we did alot of testing on this thing, just showing it off for now. I will post graphs and the test very soon. This was the end result and the price very affordable. These are not designed specifically such as RMF headers. They are meant to be all around race header, and this design beat out the previous 4-1 design with a 2.5 in. collector every where in the power band. So we might phase out our old design, not sure yet. However This header will work exteremly well specially for larger displacement and high comp. engines. We see it as an alternative to a custom built header for much less $ and great quality. All stainless, tig welded, thick flanges and polished. I don't see why anyone should be disapointed.

lol smsp I hope this header isn't a thousand dollars. All the props to the guy, i dont know him, but he must have a phat *** house. I just hope this header makes as much power and is a reasonable price, cause i know the sparks header made miracle power on a dyno.

WOW this whole time I thought it was more like the TODA header. Who said more power? Than sparks or SMSP. So if you think it is exact what do you suggest we do? should he stop the production run? It's schedualed to arive In Jan. Seriously dude do you like it or not?. By the way I think Dave is one of the most brilliant guys ever and have much respect for the guy mostly because he's an actual engineer. Never met the guy but would love to. So now what?

No ,Its nice .Thats not what I'm saying. And I'm sure it works good too .But did you need to say it made 3 more HP than one just like it? Thats all.
If it keeps up like this ,Everybody will have to have em made there.

Really? So you thought you were copying a Toda header?

"Much respect" does not equal copying a design. I don't need that kind of respect, thank you.

If you are an engineer, as your scene name would lead us to believe, use your degree and design something new instead of being 1 of 7 or 8 or 9 shops that have already copied my header.

Well sorry you feel this way Dave. However the intention was never to knock your stuff off, as a matter of fact I've never actually seen a style like this that was actually yours although I know There must be a lot of people using your design.
However the intention was to build it similar to the sparks header as it would no longer be in production. . So I take it that building a custom header for our race car would be out of the question. Anyways this was a header given to me by my hommie to test fit and dyno on my personal car.

Because if there was ever a reason to buy a header, this is it.

can you retain ac on a 92 civic hb with this header? I have a hytech production header on my built 2.0L. I would love to see the whp and tq diffeence with a design like this vs the hytech I have.

OK i am going to chime in on this one. yes it looks alot like SMSP, Sparks ect, and it was produced because of how much amazing power the sparks header made(but is no longer available. if you look at the 1st set of collectors they ar different from the sparks, also this header is polished stainless and fits 200% better than the sparks. oil pan clearance is awesome and it is not a struggle to bolt it up to the head. I recently dyno'ed this header agains a sparks header, they both followed the exact same power curve with this new one making 2-3hp more all the way up. NO ONE is saying that this is the BEST header out there or that it is an original design or anything like that. I am UNBIASED and am just here to tell you the results after testing, and yes i will be the INLAND EMPIRE sole distributor for these headers just as i was for the sparks. WHY? because they work awesome, the quality is absolutely beautiful, and you can not beat the price $500.00 now everybody remember $500.00 complete stainless steel, polished. I WILL POST THE GRAPH AS SOON AS POSSIBLE as far as i know before all the questions start NO it will not clear AC/PS this is a race/STREET race header
