H22 Crx and hooking up IAB (secondaries) to vtec experience...
I had my IAB secondaries not hooked up thus open all the time. I had a spare h22 solenoid valve so I hooked up my IAB plug/pink wire to vtec sol. yellow/green wire and black to ground. Outcome is secondaries are open when vtec is activated. My vtec is at 5500 with the jdm p13 spoon chip. I noticed in the lower rpm (secondaries closed) going up in rpm I felt the bottom end torque come back to life, and when vtec engaged shot me in my seat harder then before and seems to also have more top end? and was a lot louder. I think this will definetly help me with my launches!!! and less tire spin. I can feel soon as vtec hits it just wants to break lose even more so then in the past. I am very pleased. Night and Day difference. Not to mention better gas mileage!!! I will post a vid of my h22 crx in the next day or so.
