got new gsr -- need opinions on lip spoiler!!
I recently purchased a 1998 SSB Integra GSR from a guy in northern VA. I wasn't looking for hooked up Integra, but this one was too good of a deal to pass up. However, I am confused as to what I should do with the rear lip spoiler. Half of me likes it, and the other half wants to put the original spoiler back on (which I luckily have). Since this came with the car and needs to be repainted, I have thought about cutting it up a bit and molding in the led light from the original. I don't want to appear too ricey with this, for the color is already bright enough. What should I do???

It looks clean, I actually like the spoiler. But either way it should be fine. That's a nice white brick house behind you car. How much are house going over there ?
Hum, I've never seen that spolier before. I like it. Must be an Eastcoast thing. The question(s) I would consider is, what weights more, and aerodynamics - of course neither will help w/ aerodynamic anyway. I guess I'd say save the money for putting it back to stock and put that dough into your engine. As for the rest of your car =
personally, id take all of it off...side skirts, rear wing...but leave the front lip. get oem sideskirts, leave 'em black...go with the no spolier look, it looks tough.
It's strange someone with a 98 GSR (I'm refering to the previous owner now) would get 95 GSR wheels, and 94-97 taillights. Anyway...I say get rid of the spoiler and go wingless or stock.

I bought the car used, so all of that crap was on it when I bought it. I am not a big fan of the side skirts, and I would rather have oem for those as well. The car originally had rims on it, but were sold and traded with someone for the 94-95 rims that are on it now. In addition, the car apparently had altezza tailights (arrrgghhh!!!), but were traded as well for older lights. I can't complain, for the price was right.

Since someone had to rag on my tailights, I figured it was time to go ahead and remedy that problem. I painted them tonight with the transparent candy apple red with additional clearcoat after that. I think they have turned out pretty well so far. I sanded between layers, so it looks pretty good for only being a $6 upgrade. Maybe I will post pics with them installed to save face.
