Default 02 or 04?

Both are black. What are the pros and cons between the two? I know about the aestetic (sp) differences and that the newer ones rev lower but which do you guys think is better?

What he said. Just go out and judge for yourself, lest ye be caught up in an AP1 vs AP2 shout fest.

do not give out wrong info. the ap2 has been shown to have the same whp. i have seen ap1's range from 190-215whp stock. i have seen ap2's from 193-214whp stock. one fact is the ap2 does have more torque, just a lil more

as far as displacement goes... are the 02s only 2.0 liters or are they available in 2.2? I know the 04 is.

Both are black, the 02 has all red interior which makes me happy

I would go with 04 personally.. I like everything about it except for the new tweeters design.. I like the old round ones better.. 04 has a bit nicer interior and better looking rims too imo..

All ap1s (00-03) are 2.0 , while 04-up (ap2) are 2.2

AP1. take the money you'd save and do some work to it. with the thousands youd save you could put it into suspension, or motor, or both. 02- 21k-22k ish (dont quote me) or 04 -28,000+. Even if you arent paying up front, youd still save a few hundred in payments per month.. it all adds up. find an 02 with low miles (shouldnt be too hard) and have some fun in working on it. in stock form, its great, but you might have more appreciation for it if you adjust it to your likings

so if s2000s have model years from 2000-2006... which models straight revving at 8k? Im thinking its 00-02 revs to 9k..... 03-06 revs to 8k... Is this correct?
