Want to Trade: 91 Civic Si UPDATE NEW PICTURES NEW BUMPERS/MOLDINGS
Even more new pics on page 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First of all I know the licence plate is in the wrong spot in the pics, they are from when I first got the car and this is how the previous owner had it mounted, yes there are holes in the bumper and yes its mounted correctly now, but I have a new bumper for it, Scrool to the bottom for more info on that.
hey guys, I've got a 91 civic si with 170,xxx miles on it. I've only owned the car about 2 months and its my 6th fourth gen and im just getting tired of them.
Compression Tested the motor 1-4. 205 210 205 210
Leak Down Test 1-4. 5% 9% 11% 6%
Motor is very healthy, doesnt burn oil at all.
Mod list:
Tokico Illuminas - 3 months old
Skunk2 coil overs - 3 months old kinda bouncy came with the car
neuspeed front start bar
no name rear strut bar
skunk2 catback - installed when I got the car about 2 months ago
skunk2 short throw and weighted shift ****
autometer a/f guage in a 3 pod pillar - also installed in the car when I got it
k&n drop in filter in stock air box
no name mesh wheels with polished lip
JDM stanley ef9 side markers - in the mail. Will be installed when car leaves.
i think thats all the mods, might have more that i just cant think of right now
The good
New alternator installed 3/11/06
Interior is 95% mint, no rips in the seats, small wear mark on driver side bolster, but still plenty of material left on it.
hardly any rust at all, none on the 1/4s, small amount on the inside of the wheel well right in front of the rear driver side tire, not even noticeable unless you look for it, ill get pics of it.
Paint is pretty decent for being almost 15 years old, looks nice when its washed and waxed.
has all the si goodies still, rear speaker tray, front lip, painted bumpers.
new front brakes
new passenserger outter tie rod end
sunroof works fine
The bad
Front bumper looks warped from a minor accient at some time, and has a crack on the driver side (i have a new bumper for the car, scrool to the bottom for more info on that)
Hood has a dent looks like from someone pushing down on it to close it
dent on driver side fender - the previous owner is suppose to still be getting me new fenders in good shape.
rear bumper has a crack in it and needs to be lined up. (i have a new bumper for the car, scrool to the bottom for more info on that)
besides for that its a great car. I drive it an hour each way to school almost every day and it gets 33+ miles to the gallon. handles great too, just kinda bouncy, would be great with a pair of springs instead of the shitty coilovers.
Its also got an aftermarket stereo in it that I had laying around, and I never had a sub in a car before so I just put it in. Its a 10 inch infinity sub, with a kenwood 600 watt amp, pioneer front speakers and mtx audio rear speakers. sounds rather good, can be taken out if not wanted.
Im looking to just trade this car unless I get a really nice price to sell it at. open to anything, but im really looking for a da integra, or maybe a eg coupe or a 240sx coupe nothing special. let me know what you have guys.
These pics are from the first day I got the car and replaced the steelies with my wheels. Since then I have removed the tint and the stickers on the rear windows. And it has been PA inspected.
sorry these interior pictures kinda suck, and the interior is dirty here, these pics are from the PREVIOUS owner, i keep the car much cleaner now.
This is my current on-going project for the car, the moldings and bumper are pretty much mint, the one door molding needs some attention but it will look good when im down with it. I plan to color match the bumpers to the car, using exact OEM color paint, and use honda molding paint for the bumper moldings and door moldings, and I'll be adding the red stripe for that "jdm" look. I have 2 89 front bumpers to choose from, but need some work I just have to decide which one I want to use, I'll get pics of it when I decide. I also plan to add clean corners and get clear bumper lights which I will be putting amber bulbs into to keep it legal.

yeah i know the silver **** is gay, i didnt do it. i have another si cluster with 3k more miles on it that is not painted or anything.
driver seat is almost mint, sorry i forgot to click a shot of passenger seat, but its in even better condition then the driver so dont worry!
excuse the dirty floor mats but hey they are stock!, I stepped in mud before I pulled my car into the shop today and didnt realize

good looking car...was gonna trade it but my damn wheels wouldn't fit. drives nice and the interior is def mint!
