Default Being in the 10's , what kind tranny is recommended

Hey, to trap 135mph+ and hit a 10 sec 1/4, what kind of tranny do you guys recommend? I currently have a b16 tranny which is too short. should I go with GSR or LS ?

why is the b16 too short, lots of guys use that to get in the 10's. just up the slick size if your running out of gear.

well since people were offering the Ls I'd figure I'd throw in the d-series. It has long gears too.

Is the S1 a cable tranny??? Cause if it was hydro you could just use LS and put 4.4 final drive in it possibly. Not sure on the ratios of the cable trannies though.

I'd try the hydro cable mix. Get the best of both worlds.
