Default San Jose Shops?

Any opinion on a shop, in the San Jose area, that can egine swap Si 1.6 -> B16/B18 with LSD? I want this to look, feel, and run like it came from Honda that way. Only top quality shops please.

100% This must be smog legal swap.

I talked to DSR and Extreme Imports. Both seemed very busy and knowledgalble. Any opinion on these two or others in the area?

TIA.

Hit up Ryan at http://WWW.RYWIRE.COM. he's a sponsor here and does swaps too. He's doing a K20 swap into a EF so yes he is very professional and he does know what he's doing.

Thanks I will check him out.

Who did your conversion. I assume BAR certified means smog legal?

I did my own swap, and yes. My swap is 100% legit. I went to the smog referee at Skyline college to get the swap certified. You get a new Vin sticker from the BAR
Bureau of Auto Repair when you pass. Then you can get the car smogged anywhere and not be hassled if you get pulled over.

You won't get any BS from Ryan at Rywire. plus he's local to you in San Ho

Another recommendation here for Ryan of rywire.com
He is *extremely* knowledgeable about Honda/Acura swaps and his work ethic is top-notch. Great guy too

ryan doesnt have a shop if that is what you are looking for BUT to join the bandwagon...ryan is the man...short man but he's the man...

knowledge and skill go a long way.....and you can buy a Rywire harness from him to save you a whole bunch of trouble (splicing and cutting).

and like in your other thread...Rcrew does a good job...look at sig. on bottom, sefixcivic is a tuner there..
