Im gonna help my friend swap his motor..
his gonna swap a d16z6 to a 89 crx dx..
He came up on some SI wiring harness...
what do i have to do to the wiring shock towers
and to the ecu...thank you

You're going to need to do the MPFI swap.
You will need connnectors off the Si harness, that's it. Injector clips, Injector resistor box and it's connector and plug if you plan to use OBD0 injectors, Dizzy connector, TPS will need to be extended, etc etc etc
Do a search for MPFI, a couple of the posts have 4 links to informative sites...

so from the engine bay its okay rite?
just connect it to shock towers and get a resistor box..?

Basically you use your DX harness to make a new one, the Si harness is not plug-n-play.
Since you really only need a few connectors, I think it wouldn't be worth chopping up a perfectly good Si harness.
Any parts yard should have what you need..
You have to de-pin a couple of the ecu connectors and swap some wires around, it's not that hard, it just takes time and patience.

I followed all the steps to the wiring....
and i still got problems on the car....
with the sohc vtec.....
when i start the car it only revs up to
3k rpm.......and smells like something burning..
like clutch......
can anyone help on this...
i tryed running a pm6 ecu and pg7 ....both does
