Default GT42R dyno..not so good but very happy.

well after a few adjustments we re-dynoed the car with slicks (25x8.7x13 M&H) and it would not hook at anything above 24 psi of boost..but after trying 4 times with no luck I pulled the car out and test drove it..HOLY ****!! I have never felt a car this mean in my life..here is the dyno sheet..video and pic of the setup.

IF PIC DONT SHOW UP REFRESH PAGE.

Turn that sucker to 11K like the 71GTQ and you got yourself a fine powerband. Looks like it doesn't spool up much slower than the 71GTQ does/did either!

Yes Iam..

been in there for damn near 2 years now..

turbo spools up very nicely (about 1100 rpm faster than the 71GTQ) and at lower boost levals made damn near the same power but didnt spin on the dyno..but it starts losing power at 10,300 so Iam going to just shift at 10,5 and call it a day.

Can you post up that dyno chart that you had a while back when you was using the M22x cams or something like that and you was making power to like 11k. Thanks

Screw it 5th gear rides out! It was the only way my hatch would hook when I had good power. If it was a good tune though, I ran the **** out of it and it never complained. I think like 30 runs in one afternoon in 5th gear

see thats the problem..Iam the biggest guy and its my car so the others are scared to drive it..and I think 2 other guys at 130 each is not going to help much..lol

I have the tune dead on all the way to 24 psi so I will just do fine touchs at BOTI this weekend..datalogging kicks ***!!

I love my OBX lsd..cheap and has not gave me a problem AT ALL..no axle sticking and works great..
