I am tring to figure out a knock I am having in the front suspension I can hear it sometimes when I engage the clutch and go over uneven pavement sometimes -- It feels like a looseness and that something might break. I went from 17s back to 15s and I use to have a little metal sound come from tbat area every once in a while. I jack the front tire up and the wheel bearing does have some but not much play in it. The drivers side axle has about a 5-6mms of play in it. which I am not sure if it should have that much. I can only hear it somes times... so I am wondering if it is the axle, a bearing, or maybe a loose balljoint bolt or axle nut.. the lower ball joint does not have the cotter pin in it so I quess I should get one of those soon ..... anybody have some suggestions thanks

I am going to order a new ring set for the replacement honda axle I have -- it is an abs axle since it has the tooth ring around it... looks pretty straight forward and easy. can't be any harder than the oil cooler line I replaced from underneath the car that was a PIA.. PIA...

oh come on that oil cooler isnt that bad....

i had to do that once....sucked monkeys ba...well you know what i mean...

anyways....go through every bolt under there and make sure they are all tight....and make sure that the ball joints are not too bad....it could be that....

whats your suspension setup??
