rear lca bushing question.
I recently installed hardrace bushings on my 93 civic. As I was putting it together I come to find out the rear lca bushing (that connects the lca to the shock) is skinnier than stock. Now I plan on emailing them, to try to get the right size, but for now I'd like to just get my car back together. (they are the bushings intended for that spot btw, no other bushing in the set could go there.) So I'd like to just put a couple of washers between the bushing and shock (on each side) and call it good. Am i asking for trouble by doing this??
I've been in contact With the company about this problem- Their computers show that a 93 civic bushing (rear lca, middle bushing that connects to shock) is 40 mm while an integra was 50mm. I thought that solved the problem, as I have integra lca's, but upon inspecting my stock civic rear lca's and bushings, and my original shock, the original bushing was 50mm. Can anyone confirm this for me, I always thought 92-95 civic and 94-00 integra shocks were interchangeable. Once again can anyone confirm that 92-95 civic rear lca bushings(that connect to the shock) are indeed 50mm (llike the integras), and not 40mm like the bushings i was sent?
