Isn't a trial member supposed to get an upgraded full membership after two weeks? I'm just wondering because I have a chop for the contest that ends tomorrow in the Cosmetic/Appearance forum and I cannot submit it though my two week(?) trial term was over on Oct. 1. Can someone help me get this figured out? Thanks.

you need 20 posts, or something like that but your not a trial member anymore....it would say trial in red under your name

Yeah As soon as I started this topic the "trial" disappeared. This is my first post since the trial has been over so maybe you just need to make another post after the trial expires and "BOOM" membership becomes full. Oh well, thanks anyway. I'm an Idiot.

Obviously I read the rules or I wouldn't have known how long it takes to upgrade membership. I'm 3 days past the trial expiration date and it just disappeared a minute ago.

The reason why we get so hostile is because these threads could easily be avoided if people would just READ the rules.

Maybe you should read something other than the rules. Before I started this thread "trial" was still under my name, I couldn't make posts everywhere I wanted to, and my instant messaging wasn't working. I tried to send a message to a moderator to address the question and I was not allowed to send messages. I was three days past my trial expiration date and "trial" was still under my name. Since I couldn't get in touch with a mod, I did the only thing that I could possibly do and that was ask other members for help. Upon submitting this thread, the "trial" disappeared and then I sent a message to a mod, Deemeetree, to request removal of this thread since it was no longer an issue. Apparently "trial" disappears after you make your first post past the trial expiration date. I explained myself twice, this being the third time, to get rid of some hostility. I didn't register here to cause problems or to be treated like a kid.

The trial period is at this moment set to 15 days.

You must post at least once in a tech forum for the system to recognise you and update your status.

It's not crystal clear that the member must have contributed by posting in order for the system to recognise the user and change the user's status.

It's not a big deal. No reason to flame people.
