Type S swap into Prelude type SH, need help
I have a H22 type S swap and need to put this into my Prelude type SH.
I am wondering if the way to do this is to use the Type S ecu and harness... this way I would just pop the engine in, connect the harness to the ecu, and connect the other end of the harness to the engine sensors, possibly needing to extend wires in the process?
It seems to me that this should work?
The other alternative to doing this seems to be to use the type SH ecu and harness, and moving the oil pump (w/ the crank sensor, etc) and distributor to the Type S engine. But what other parts would I need to transplant?
Has anyone actually done this same swap? Help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, does anyone know if the atts computers are identical?

the computer for atts should be the same, but use the type s computer from japan, use the engine harness if you can, but it might not reach....
sounds like a good swap, a real type s setup with atts
i would give more info, but im about to leave for class....good luck dude...
edit: using the usdm harness would probably be easier, because all the plugs are the same, i think the type s has all the ckp and tdc stuff in the dist (correct me if im wrong)....if so, use your current dist.
if not, then just extend the wires from where they are on the current harness up to the dist.
check out the h22 into ek thread in the hybrid forum for info on that....its not hard, i did it on my car, i just dont have the time to write it up now
precisionh23a made a post about some probs with ckp and tdc wiring, i posted it there, just find that thread for the info

sorry for the late notice, but:
success
i have no idea how it was done, but ended up using the harness from new motor along with the new ecu.
