Preloading will help save your tranny.

preloadind is easier on drivetrain. i'd rather preload then break axels.

when i was NA, i used to pretty much ride it for a sec, then dump it.

but now that im turbo, preloading is so much greater, because i can start to make boost and save my driveline

as far as NA i dont see much use for it

^slip it so there is already some force trying to drive the car, this way there wont be a big shock of torque when you take off

While in the pre stage, With the e-brake up (button pushed in/removed) Let the clutch out just enough to where it feels as if the car wants to pull forward. Set your Launch RPM. "Pump" the car forward by letting the E-brake up/down slightly until you're staged. When you feel it's go time let the e-brake down in the same motion the clutch is being released.

put line locks on the back wheels and hook it to a button on your stearing wheel. have your 2 step hooked to the button too. let the clutch out 3/4 of the way and mash the gas. the just let the button go

Are line locks legal for all classes? sfwd/t4?

So is preload really necessary for N/A set up.
It seems that Turbo people like cause of the boost build for a N/A is really neccesary

It's necessary to save/extend life of drivetrain components.
