well you can pull the forks threw the trees a little bit, then you can get dog bones for the rear or there called lowering links, that will get it pretty low
You could shave the seat but that's pretty minimal on a 600rr.
5'3 isn't that small and I suggest you just learn how to hold the weight of the bike while on your right leg. Messing with the geometry of the bike(lowering) seriously effects handling in a negative way and should only be done as a last resort.
You might not notice the difference if you only plan to cruise around on the bike and never test its limits.

On my ZX6R the adjustment was about 2.0" +/- on the stock coil. I have my rear spring set almost at the lowest range possible for comfort sake.
Honestly it feels much more stable in turns with this configuration mostly due to the ZX6R's front configuration of clipons below the triple clamp. I always thought the bike felt very twitchy with the rear spring set where it was when I bought the bike.
I wouldn't mess with the front forks if you do not have to as they will not benefit seat height as much as rear shock.
I would agree with sticking to the limits of the stock suspension range if you plan to use the bike as it was designed. Once you have maxed out the rear shock height, there are options of narrowing the seat, shaving height off of it, and just compensating at a stop by shifting on the seat.
But whatever, do what it takes to be comfortable. I have always thought (Keith Code would agree, and I'm sure he analyzed this first) that distractions and discomfort take up a lot of your minds ability to concentrate on much more important decisions on the road.

That looks incredibly stupid. I don't know many people who want to look goofy at every traffic light.
If you aren't racing it then lower it a bit. If you race, bring it back up.
That's a simple solution.
I'm 5'6 and I can touch toes to the middle of my feet on most 600/1000's.

You can snag a link to lower it with off of http://www.myrtlewestcycle.com. then just drop the forks through the trees about an inch and you will be golden.

yea, i do this all the time...ive got a 600rr and im about 5'6 too and most of the time when i am at a stoplight, i usually only have one foot touching the ground, which is plenty. i havent done much by the way of adjusting the stock suspension cause i think its fine the way it is.
