Default Mini me swap on a 1988 honda DX EF D15 carburated. Help!!

I know there a bunch of info on this swap but I can't find it. I just needed to know if this swap is duable on a carburated D15 on a 88 Honda Civic hatch ef. If any one also has a completed kit for this swap I will gladly take it off your hands for a reasonable price!! Also If anyone knows of some links on this swap please let me know.

thanks

yes its possible. you would need a z6/y8 head with the manifold. then you would need to swap out the injectors and put in your old ones so you can still use your peak and hold injectors. then you would need to wire for MFPI. then you need to either rig up a vtec activator switch thing or convert to obd 1 with a p28. i would suggest teh rywire.com conversion kit. make sure the head is complete and you might need a obd1 dizzy depending on which way you go.

For the wiring, you'll want to checkout my site: http://www.rywire.com
On the top of this forum is a thread called FAQ Topics. I believe there are a few mini-me How-To links in that.
And thanks for the plug Rexified love the support!

While the won't really help you, I thought I'd mention it.

The DPFI in Stds and DXs isn't carburation. While it's not full fledged fuel injection like MPFI, it still uses fuel injectors, FI fuel pressure levels and computerization to control the fuel, making it much closer related to fuel injection.

Just a note on the DPFI it is also considered Throttle body fuel injection .

You will need to convert to MPFI (Multi-port fuel injection) direct port fuel injected if you like that term too.

After this you can either go with just a MPFI swap or go with a completely different motor. Since you are new I would highly recommend the following.

MPFI swap only
Mini-me swap (requires additional wiring)
b18a1 swap (stay obdo) will require mounts and shift linkage.

If I go with the b18a1 besides the shift linkage, will I also need the tranny or can I stick with mine. Just trying to save a little right now. Since my head gasked went out I thought might as well replace the head with something better. Thanks allot for the info guys.

You will need the mount kit, shift linkage, 90-93 integra axles, b series cable trans,PR4 ecu, and some other small parts for the b18a1
