I find their text particularly interesting... read it and see what I mean. I think we have converted a whole new crowd of enthusiasts thanks to these guys.

LOL, I guess I've opened up a can of worms this time!

I can't talk about it yet, but I'll say that there will be more events exactly like that one in the near future, although they might not be under the name "Speedtrial". Hope that makes sense... stay tuned for details!

That's my car they're talking about.
Sweet, I think.
Sweet, I think.
Yeah, I think they thought it was a base-model Sentra... until the first 7800-rpm blast up thru the climbing esses, that is.

Passing only allowed on designated straits.
No need to traumatize a novice 6 feet off their bumper through the twisties.

Passing is not guaranteed it is a privilege.
If I chose not to give a passing signal... the people behind me need to accept that.
Comments about my driving (also my students driving) need to be kept out of this discussion.
Tailgating is a NO-NO! That is the bottom line. You must give the car in front of you "breathing" room... then close up the gap once you are near a passing zone.

Some people don't know that this (SpeedTrial) is a school... not a race.
You will not learn anything sucked up on the rear bumper of the car in front of you.
Except maybe some car damage when the car out-brakes you... or spins right in front of you.

Well said, both of the students I instrusted did a great job at this. My thoughts are let them know your there, then back off until a passing zone. Sometimes they may not give you the pass signal, this is when you pit in yourself
I just drove around all day with my arm out of the window, letting everyone go by
